24 Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.25 And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.

32 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.'44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?47 And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so?

Do not receive an accusation against an elder except from two or three witnesses.

Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine.

It is God alone who judges; he decides who will rise and who will fall.

Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.

These things I command you, that you love one another.

This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.

9 And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth."

Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.
